Slime Time Vintage

About Us :: aboutme.txt

Two 90s kids, one slime green garage.

Slime Time Vintage started the way most good things do: an argument. KC said the best decade ended in 1997. MJ said it never ended at all. Twenty minutes later they were elbow-deep in a milk crate of single-stitch tees at a Sunday market, and by that afternoon they had a shared spreadsheet, a shared bank account and a very unshared opinion about which cartoon rabbit belongs on a satin bomber.

We were the kids who taped the top 40 off the radio, who rented the same movie four weekends in a row, who wore basketball shoes we couldn't play basketball in. Everything in this shop is something one of us would have begged our parents for β€” and everything gets checked, measured, photographed and written up by hand before it goes live.

Sourcing & authentication

Born 1987, raised on cereal-box prizes and a hand-me-down console with one working controller. KC can date a tee by its collar seam from across a car boot sale and has a genuinely alarming memory for cartoon theme tunes. Does the 5am drives, the estate sales, the polite haggling. Collects lunchboxes and refuses to explain how many.

Photos, listings & the website

Born 1989, spent most of 1999 building websites with a tiled starfield background β€” so yes, this whole shop is a bit of a homecoming. MJ shoots every piece, writes the condition notes, packs the boxes and sneaks a sticker into each one. Firmly believes a windbreaker should be audible from the next room.

  • β–Ά No reproductions. Ever. If it isn't period-correct, it isn't listed.
  • β–Ά Flaws photographed up close, not hidden in the small print.
  • β–Ά Real measurements on every garment, because 90s sizing is chaos.
  • β–Ά A human replies to your email β€” usually within a day, usually MJ.
